Digital Skills Training in Adama: A Successful Partnership with ChildFund

Last week, we had the amazing opportunity to deliver a digital skills training program in Adama, Ethiopia, in partnership with ChildFund. It was a truly inspiring experience! We welcomed participants from diverse backgrounds and sectors, all eager to boost their digital literacy. The energy in the room was incredible – everyone was so engaged, asking thoughtful questions, and sharing their experiences. It was heartwarming to see how enthusiastic everyone was about learning new skills.

As a leading software development and training company, we were more than excited about the opportunity to go out of the office, meet, and train people across different sectors. While delivering trainings in Graphic Design, Full-stack Web Development, Programming, and Digital Skills isn’t new for us—we’ve been doing so for many years—most of our trainees have typically been young people seeking new skills to secure better job opportunities or employed individuals aiming for career advancement. This experience was different. This time, our participants were experienced team leaders and project coordinators from various sectors, united by a common goal: to change lives, empower the next generation, and help young people become valuable assets in today’s world.

Our training covered a range of essential digital topics, from social media marketing to basic web development and Graphics design. The participants, many of whom work directly with young people, were keen to understand how digital tools can be leveraged to create positive change. We focused on practical skills, ensuring they could directly apply their learning. Adama itself provided a vibrant backdrop to our sessions.

We’re incredibly grateful to ChildFund for this incredible partnership. Their dedication to community development is truly commendable, and this training is a testament to their commitment. We believe this is only the beginning of a long and fruitful collaboration, and together we can continue to make a positive difference in the lives of people in Adama and beyond. We’re already looking forward to our next opportunity to work together!
